Welcome to the Community Pavilion – the heart of our all-new Short Course. Here you will find the resources, activities and attendee support that will allow you to experience the Short Course like never before, from the minute you check in until it’s time to leave.
Your Short Course experience begins as soon as you arrive. Our concierge team is dedicated to exceeding your every expectation so that you can make the most of your week. Along with helping streamline your on-site registration, our team will be on hand to help with:
• Registration questions
• Obtaining course content and supplemental materials
• Arranging additional networking opportunities
• City transportation and dinner reservations
Want to take a virtual tour through one of Charles River’s diagnostic laboratories? Or perhaps view a video tutorial on proper tissue collection? These, along with other virtual options, will be available for your viewing at the virtual station in our Internet Café.
Refuel & Recharge Station
If you need a snack or drink, stop by the R&R Station and enjoy some refreshments. Forgot to charge your device? No problem. Plug in or sign out one of our mobile charging blocks and charge on the go.
Education is the focal point of the week. Be sure to make the Resource Centre one of your stops to collect additional scientific and technical materials to supplement your learning, including complimentary copies from our guidebook series, and our Common Rodent Health Conditions poster (available in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish).
We understand that your work doesn’t stop just because you come to the Short Course. No worries! Just plug in and catch up in between sessions at our Internet Café, where you can reconnect using our complimentary Wi-Fi.
The Learning Centre
Want to try your hand at collecting a sample for serology, see how easy it is to use the LabStamp™ automated mouse ID system or learn more about an innovative 3Rs approach to animal health surveillance? Head over to the Demo area of The Learning Centre and meet with the specialists. They will be on hand to answer any questions you have, as well as guide you through
